Hi,
I'm thinking of building a touchscreen-based PC with the HP L2105tm as the primary input device. Something crossed my mind that isn't clear in the user manual - is it possible to wake a PC (Windows 7) from S3 suspend using just the monitor, or would another input device (mouse/keyboard) be needed to wake up the PC?
I saw the note int he manual that the touch functionality might take a few seconds to function after the monitor comes out of 'Power Save', but it wasn't clear if another input device was required. Any info would be appreciated...
Thanks,
-ccb

This is a volunteer forum. Therefore, it would be better if you would contact HP Customer Service for the answer to your question. I suggest using the online option.

Well, I ended up getting one of these monitors before I could get my question answered - just in case
anyone else has the same question, the answer is 'no', you'll need a keyboard or mouse to wake
up the computer, none of the monitor's controls affect the PC when it is in sleep mode.
I'll have to rig up a small trackpad under the monitor for waking it up - will also work as an input
device for people not familiar with the touchscreen gestures...
Thx,
ccb
