Dropping the 430W in the HP seems to have fixed the issue regarding installing the fanless NVidia.

Hi,
The original PSU was 350 watts and you replaced it with a 480 watt PSU and now a 430 watt PSU. Your situation seems a bit odd but not impossible.

Sorry, typo, 480W PSU. There were only two PSUs in play here.
