CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET A VIDEO FROM MY SONY CAMCORDER INTO MY COMPUTER SO I CAN THEN MAKE  DVD.   THE CAMERA IS USB CONNECTED BUT THE COMPUTER DOESNT SHOW IT ANYWHERE. I HAVE WINDOWS 7

Install the software that came with the Sony camcorder.
Then switch off the camcorder, connect it to the (running) pc, then switch it on.
