I would like to drive two monitors with my HP Pavilion slimline and I need to know what cards are compatible with this machine.
Thanks,

BF, welcome to the forum.
The power supply unit (PSU) in the computer is 220W. This will limit the cards that will run properly in the computer. It must also be low profile.
The truth is, Slimline models aren't meant to be upgraded. The size of the case limits airflow. Upgrading increases the heat and reduces component life.
Here is a guide to help you decide:

If you don't have high requirements for monitor settings you can try one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Universal-Multi-D
They will use your current graphics device.

I had not thought of USB display drivers. I had heard that the resouloution was not good and it was slow and jumpy. Have they progressed to acceptalbe performance.

The customer comments are disverging.
But most complains are with Mac products.
Of course this unit is no graphics card, it uses your in-build one.
So if your gpu can't support a resolution, then it can't do it with this unit, too.
In your case I only would use it if you remain at vga or dvi-a for both monitors.
Maybe you get it at a local store, where you can return it?
