Will HP 2710m or 2711x be fuzzy with my s3600f that only has VGA port?

I want to get a larger monitor, maybe even a 27 inch one, but my Slimline s3600f only has a single VGA port, (no DVI or HDMI ports or interface).

I am unsure whether or not the video quality will be fuzzy on a large monitor.

My videocard is a GeForce 7100/nForce 630i.

I've researched this, but due to my lack of technical understanding, I have not been able to answer the question on my own. I do believe VGA can work on larger monitor, but it all depends on whether or not your graphic card can handle it.

Could anyone shed light in plain English for me?

JJ, it appears that the native resolution for a 27" monitor is 1920 x 1200.  The GeForce 7100's maximum resolution is 1920 x 1440.  Therefore, it should work with the monitor.  You won't get the best quality because VGA is analog and DVI is digital.  Using an adapter is not the best way to connect a monitor.

Thanks.  That is fine. I'm not looking for the best, just wanted to get some feedback as to whether or not it "probably" would work and not be too blurry.

I'll be upgrading my pc computer soon anyway, but wanted to get monitor a first. I had researched myself that the GeForce 7100 had 1920 x 1440, but I just wasn't sure if I was understanding correctly, or whether or not it would work with VGA.

Thanks again geekster
