I hooked up a flat panel monitor wich requires a resolution of 1680x1050.  Other resolutions are streched or are blurry in areas.  The HP driver for Intel 82945G Express graphics card does not support this resolution and there is no update.  Intel has an updated driver through but when I install it I get an error message that "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer.  Please obatin the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer."  The hardware detection program on the Intel web site also confirms that the computer has a customized manufacturer driver which apparently intel won't override.  Is it possible to override this hp limitation or is there some other work around?  OS is Windows XP Media Center.  Thanks for any suggestions.

problem solved.  I don't know what changed, but my effors to update the drive must have done something, because upon reboot the 1680x1050 was available and makes the monitor look great.
