I have a red vertical line on my monitor.

There are probably three hundred different kinds of monitors out there... Smiling.

Look at this document and see if your line looks similar to any of the graphics in the examples.  The only "single" line I saw was for a "horizontal" line.  Nonetheless, there may be something to be done about it unless the monitor itself is damaged or failing.  The document includes "self-help" steps on how to fix some of the different things that can be at fault.

I hope this helps... I just had to replace one of my monitors.  The 24" Samsung finally died.  Good monitor.
