Please post the product number for your monitor.
Try the monitor and cable on another PC to eliminate the PC as the issue. Alternatively, try another monitor and cable on your PC.

Thank you for responding, I have an omni 100-5050 all in one, I don't know how to hook up to another monitor or the model number of the monitor

How can you tell if the PC has started when the monitor is blank and the power LED is unlit?
Review these posted HP documents.
Your Omni uses an external power supply so make sure that the connections are tight.
