I have what looks like "double vision" on my monitor. What is causing this

I'm not sure exactly what you're experiencing, but it could be a number of things.

First thing is make sure that the cables are connected securely at both ends and to reboot all of the devices.

What is your monitor model and the video connection you are using?

 

Have you tried to connect the monitor to another PC or another video cable? Did you tried to make a factory reset on the monitor OSD menu?

Most times it's an interference between the monitor (data) cable and the monitor power cable.
Separate this two cables.
