The monitor seems to be recognizing that it is not receiving a signal, so it is probably not the problem. Try reseating the video cable and/or use a different cable. If that does not help, the computer is most likely the problem. The surest way to tell is to connect the monitor to another pc or connect another monitor to this pc.
