my monitor showed rainbow colors then LCD suddenly cracked

[ Edited ]

I wasn't working in extreme temps, i wasn't doing anything destructive - i didn't drop it - i didn't do anything. it went all lines of rainbow colors and suddenly a crack appeared in teh lower rite corner and then the monitor is all cracked and worthless... i believe this was a defective monitor bc if I had done anything for it to crack it would have been obvious.. but it wasn't it just cracked... the lcd is {Content Removed: Language Filter Evasion} and if I have to pay to replace the LCD that's a crappy blow by HP again bc everytime I buy an HP i can expect to have something go wrong from chargers to keyboards to motherboards to hard drives to whatever ... now an LCD cracked fro no reason?

I deserve a new LCD... i mean come on ... this was a defective part -- why would it have gone all rainbow brite on me and then cracked?

Re: my monitor showed rainbow colors then LCD suddenly cracked

thanks for all the insight and help... the stupid HP mini was a waste of money in my opinion after breaking only a couple months into owning it... and warranty won't cover it...

HP - you've lost a customer and i swear I'll spread teh word to never buy an HP since I work at a computer selling company-- HP you truly haven't given me any help or options and I will never purchase a product again and I certainly won't give ANY referrals to anyone on your products...

thanks again HP-- I came for help and what do I get? NOTHING. I have to purchase a 75 total new screen and replace it myself... great... You'd think you'd want to have more business... and NO... no help from anyone...

thanks again HP-- again, all the customers I encounter will NOT be buying HP
