"No audio devices are installed." Where did my audio go?

I have an HP Pavilion a6152n Desktop PC, and I'm on Vista 32-bit.  My audio was fine until I installed a GeForce GT545 graphics card.  Now I have no audio.  I don't know which driver to install because according to Device Manager, no audio devices are installed.  I seem to remember the name Realtek from before.

Any thoughts?

Re: "No audio devices are installed." Where did my audio go?

Some graphics cards seems to disable internal audio, because they support audio itself.
Have you checked BIOS to enable internal audio again?

Re: "No audio devices are installed." Where did my audio go?

Hi kidIng,

first - it would be better to open your own thread (but maybe you already have done this?
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems/I-NEED-MULTIMEDIA-AUDIO-CONTROLLER-DRIVER/m-p... )

Second - please don't use capital letter, it's awful to read.

Third - as Paul already told you in the other thread - give us more informations!

You need to install the right driver for your audio device, but we can't help you if you don't give us the right informations.

Maybe Realtek is the right site, but we don't know for sure:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Try this help from HP:
