My son has told me I need to upgrade video card so he can play some games he got for Christmas.
Pavillion a1123c, Product # PY023AA, Windows XP Media, Pentium 4, 3.00GHz. Current video card: Integrated with up to 128MB allocated video memory. Currently has 1 GB (2 x 512). max allowed 4x1 GB and will be upgrading that shortly.
Can I upgrade? If so to what? And any recommendations on what to look for?
Was reading on these forums that I might also need to upgrade the power supply. Is this correct? If so how do I do this? What do I need to know?
Thanks!

Hmm, upgrading the video may not be possible. From what I read on the specs, this computer's motherboard carries no PCI Express slots or even an older AGP slot (a standard used for video cards), only PCI of which they do not make video cards for anymore. Even the faster AGP standard is hardly ever used in favor of the PCI Express standard. If you wanted better graphics, you would need a new computer.
