I've used this monitor as a second monitor for my laptop for almost a year. I came in from the field yesterday, the computer was connected to the monitor, but was BLANK. It just stopped working. Blue light is on at the top, connectors are all intact. Power cable, monitor cable has no bent wires, etc... None of the stuff the "troubleshooting" suggestions mention. I connected it to my other laptop and same problem. BLANK screen. No messages, no log in message, nothing.
Any idea if this is under warranty? 1) Purchased from Circuit City! 2) Don't have receipt!
Is there a hidden "reset" button somewhere?
The Display function on the computer shows that the second monitor (the w2207h) is connected, and working... but the monitor just doesn't "light up"!

How are you connecting to the Monitor? Are you connecting directly from the laptop, or are you going through docking station of some kind?
Try the steps in this HP Support document on troubleshooting a blank monitor.
