why can't i view my pictures off of an sd card?

My computer will not let me veiw my picture offof a SD memory card,

What hardware/method are you using to open the memory card on the computer? A built-in card reader, a USB card reader, or hooking it up through your camera via data cable? Also, when you say it won't let you view pictures, what exactly is it doing? Has it worked properly in the past? Are you able to open the folder containing the files but not open the files themselves? Or are you having trouble finding the memory card on the computer? If so, go to Start > (My) Computer, and it should be listed under removable storage. If you have it hooked up and it doesn't appear, there could be a problem with your card reader.
