Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On March 5, my computer went through a big Windows 10 update.  Now I have sound through both the internal speakers and the connected external speakers.  If I plug headphones in, I hear sound through them as well as the internal speakers.  I updated the audio driver but still have the same issue.

@JonT286, welcome to the forum.

You should go into the Control Panel / Sound and check that your internal speakers are set to Default.  This may solve your problem.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

In the Control Panel under sounds, the only device that shows up is Speakers/Headphones and it is set as the default.  I do not see the internal speakers listed.

Thank you for the additional information, @JonT286.

I suggest disconnecting the external speakers and uninstalling the Audio driver and reboot.  Then, reinstall the driver and connect the external speakers to see what happens.  I believe that a conflict has occurred during the update.
