Arbitard1171 and all others who don't know in this forum, the issue is with all the HPs with i7 chips (or atleast all that I've looked in to). I also have the E9180F and have completely given up on trying to work on it. I joined this topic because it needs to be said that this problem is not isolated to the E9150T.
Oh yeah its good to be back after my ban!! Ya! Thanks Wendy you've opened my eyes to how awesome HP really is so glad I switched from Dell!!! Woot! I only wish there were more power-tripping moderaters like you...I think I love you.

Hi I'm certainly not patient enough to read all 127 pages before me, but bare with me.
I own a HP Pavillion Elite e9150t which I recieved in July or August I can't remember right for some reason. I has definitely had problems with locking up, freezing, and crashing. Most of the time, there is scrambling around the mouse and the computer either goes BSOD or it fades to black and the monitor loses connection to it. I am having a real problem with this and if someone could tll me how to fix it I would appreciate it A LOT.
Oh. and here are my specs if needed:
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Service Pack 2
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
8.00 GB RAM
nVidia Geforce GT 220 1GB
1 TB Storage
Please reply ASAP and thank you!
Edit: I have tried HP support numerous times and been given the same bad advice and same unmotivated customer care that I have begun to expect (unfortunately from HP. I would love it for HP to redeem themselves with a nice reply which brings a fix to my computer.

Personally I would not be hard on Wendy without knowing more about what she's been told. I could easily conceive that she's been given absolute rules and that her boss would come down on her for not strictly enforcing them even if it's a meaningless exercise. Big companies are bureaucracies and doing things that make sense often is not acceptable behavior.
There are several moderators on this forum, yet none compare to Wendy. Misplaced power can be dangerous
