Dvortex, I have deleted the "Enable" tab in the registry, rebooted the computer and I still get the message.  What to do next?  I might just have to learn to live with this annoyance, but I hope not.

Did you try using the software removal tools I suggested? I hope that will help you clean the PC of the HP connection remote.

Dvortex, yes I downloaded CCleaner (Free version) and ran the program, but the problem still persist.

Dvortex FYI I just ran Norton Utilities 16 and did a registry clean up and the problem is NOW gone.  I ran Norton Utilities 16 before I reported this problem, but it would not correct it at that time.  Maybe by deleted the registry entry created a problem that made Norton Utilities 16 look at the rest of the entires and corrected something there.  Just thought I'd let you know.  I will give you a thumbs up for helping me though.  Thanks.
