HP Envy Phoenix H9-1430ea
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to run Virtualise environment, get the usual message that VT-x not enabled in Bios.

Reboot, F10, find out Bios Password set - but no idea what it is.

Try three attempts, no error message (as seen on other posts), PC simpy boots into Windows

PC bought some time ago (Costco special deal - last one in store) - assumed Bios was unlock.

Any other ways of enabling VT-x and/or reseting Bios pwd

many thanks

David

HI Paul

Many thanks for the steps, appologies for the delay, on my system that was a rather large Radeon in the way which needed time to strip before I could access Jumper.

Steps worked first time and resolved the problem

many thanks

David
