Product: pavillin 500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I open the bios?  When i go through windows i get the bios start screen with a list of function keys.  The only key that causes action is th4e enter key which restarts to windows. what do i need to do??

you our can get into bios by tapping F10 key during start up,

 

update the bios once

The typical way to enter the BIOS on a fairly new HP, is to press Esc immediately after pressing the physical start button.  On the menu that comes up, then pick F10.

i am in the bios start up screen via Esc.  i have the folling keys showing:

F1 system information

F2 system diagnostics

F9 Boot Device Options

F10 BIOS Setup

F11 System Recovery

F12 Network Boot...

 

I can press any of these keys and I get nothing.  I hit enter and win 10 starts.  now what???
