Hi there @gauravg26405068,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that your computer is not starting properly. I am happy to help with this.

Just to clarify, you are referring to a CD or DVD being inserted in a drive that is noisy, is that correct?

If your computer is not starting try out this:  HP PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Windows 7)

If you are able to start up, then maybe it would be better to try a System Restore first. Look for a restore point that is from before the issue started. Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)

Please let me know how that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.

> also makes a loud noise when i start pc.

This is normal on some PCs -- when you power-on the computer, it runs the fans at 100% of their speed, for a few seconds, to test that the fans are correctly working.  This high-speed spinning is noisy.

Then, based on the temperature of the motherboard, it tells the fans to slow down to an optimized speed, especially if the motherboard is at room temperature, and does not need to be cooled. This low-speed spinning can be very quiet.
