How do I get CD which activates HP Product Assistant

I have an HP Compaq Presario with OS Vista. Message received "Feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the HP Product Assistant disk and click OK". I have no such disk.
My HP Product Assistant is Version 111.000.006.000,
2005-2007 HP Device LP
I created the Version on 5/15/2011
Nothing that I have can open the Prod. Asst.. I have tried your trayapp.msi suggestion without any luck!
There appears to HP that I have an error which needs correcting. I would like to do it, if you can help, please.

I hesitate a little to post this, and I must say that I don't know if it'll do you any good, but you might take a look at it.
