I need help finding the Driver for CDDVDW TS-T633P

I have a HP TouchSmart model 300-1003 running Win7 64-bit with a CDDVDW TS-T633P cd player. Can anyone point me to a download of the driver for this cd player?

Look here for software updates.  I didn't see an update for your model CD/DVD drive.  What issues are you experiencing?

I am rebuilding the hard drive and cannot locate the driver for the cd player. I have looked on HP's site but still cannot find a driver.

The drive is made by Samsung.  The default Windows 7 driver should work.

When i try to play a cd or a dvd its not letting me anymore.. it just says

application not found

i don't know what the deal is.  the drivers are installed.  could it be someting in the registry?

Were you able to find the answer to this question? I think HP has a batch of bad DVD drives since I am seeing a lot of us needing replacements. Anyone know the remedy besides replacing the DVD drive?

I am having the same issue.  My CDDVDW TS-T633P is on my 600-1120 touch screen win 7.  It does not work.  Any luck with HP standing behind their product?
