My DVD-CD drive will not accept a disk. There is no other disk already installed. (1671 Views)

My DVD-CD drive will not accept a disk. There is no other disk already installed.

This is an all in one HP computer with an internal DVD drive.  It worked previously.    There is not a disc stuck in it.  "Properties" indicates that the dirve is ok and working properly.  However, it will not accept a new disc.  The eject light is operating  Where do I go from here????????

I have the same issue with my TouchSmart. I push the disk into the drive but it won't accept it, and there's no other disk inside. Ugh.
