Need Driver for Win 7 for HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-H30L

I updated my HP Pavillion from Vist to WIN 7 and  somehow the DVD driver got corrupted.  Trying to load it from the HP Site generates an error because it seemingly thinks that WIN7 does not meet the minumum requirements,  Can someone point me out to the actual drier files so that I can install them myself?  I am currently dvd-less.

Thanks!

If the driver is VISTA based then you'll need VISTA up to install it.  What model HP PC are you using?

Usually uninstalling the driver in Device Manager for the DVD/CD drive then rebooting will allow Windows to rediscover the device and reinstall the driver.

If the reason for your post is a message like this " Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"  look at this: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems

or this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270008  or this

http://pctechnotes.com/how-to-fix-windows-cannot-load-the-device-driver-for-this-hardware-the-driver...

BTW:  The OS has the drivers for a DVD built in and do not require anything to be downloaded.
