i have a hp 740 i dvd burner and installed by mistake firmware for a hp 740 e. no matter what i have tried my system continues to reconize it as a hp 740 e. i have uninstalled upper and lower filters, the whole bit. please help. it is a fairly new drive with litlle usage. my second drive is a pioneer dvr 107d which burns both + and - disks but only at 8x on the plus disks which i have yet to see. the hp i believe burns both at higher speeds and plus blanks are more readily avail at the 16x speed. thank u much if any help is avail. philliejim
