Windows DVD Maker Wont burn to cd

When i first used this it worked. Now i tried to make another one it starts to burn, but it only gets to about 5% and a window pops up and says an error occured while burning the DVD! What is going on with it, how can i fix it??

What model HP PC are you using?  VISTA or Windows 7?

What is the problem?  The title of this post indicates CD but the message text indicates DVD?

Computer: HP Pavilion Slimline s5510y Desktop PC

Using: Windows 7

Im Using a DVD not a CD sorry!

Read through the suggestions listed in this post.

Download Imgburn and see if it will burn DVDs.
