Hi there, i`ve lost my CD that comes with this device, and now i can`t install it on new PC with Windows XP.

I hope somebody can help me to find driver for this product

Drivers for CD/DVD drives are provided by Windows. Software for burning is readily available and free.

I lost my cd to download the drivers for my hp dvd writer model 1040e. can someone tell me where I can find it to download for free if possible.
