new Touchsmart PC with hpDVDWBD-TS-TB23L blue ray drive will not read Australian blu-rays only USA?

I am in Australia and my default region code for Blu-ray seems set to USA. (plays USA but not those purchased in Australia). I know how to navigate and change settings for DVD but am unable to locate anything to change settings for Blu-ray??? HP not much help at this stage. My PC drivers and software are all up to date according to HP UPdate and HP Support Assistant. Software for playing is HP Touchsmart DVD. Any suggestions........

Sorry unfortunately it seems to be in the " too hard basket". Have even spent over one and a half hours on the phone with HP online support......got the big Case Number and all. They also do not know how to solve it and agree we should not have to pay out more money to buy additional software to play our blue-ray discs. Basically it is false advertising to say you have a blue ray drive that does not play Australian discs. Of course they also promised to escalate the problem and ring me back the next day.....??? Needless to say it has been over a week and I have not heard from them. Hopefully there is some very cluey person out there who can help us out.  Cheers.
