I have this PC
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product
I found this PSU
OCZ 600W StealthXStream Power Supply
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QF1EK4/ref=sr
Here's the tech specs.
http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-600w-stealthxstre
But I really need another advice!!!
Since I am really worried because I do not want to buy a new PSU, just to find out the Power Supply Unit is too big for the m9060la Chassis
Also this is a PSU w/600W If I can find a PSU with more watts than 600 I will more than happy
Please note: the link provided is a Pavilion Elite m9060n my model is m9060la, I do not know if the cases are bigger or smaller
Regards

starwarsmex,
The only difference is the rated PSU wattage. Both are standard ATX with a 5.5" depth into the case.
m9060la:http://www.power-on.com/atx12vhp300bt.html
m9060n:http://www.power-on.com/ea350u.html
Your selection has 4 rails, each at 18A. It is 5.5" depth.
http://www.ocztechnology.com/res/manuals/OCZ600SXS
You need to power-down, unplug the power lead, and measure the existing PSU depth into the case. As I said, it's 5.5".
BUT --- do you have any more room before it slams into the DVD drive cabling? How much length do you really feel comfortable with, 6.3" or 7".

Thank you, but I would like to have a second opinion about a PSU for my m9060la, can you please be so kind to suggest me another brand and model, that could fix in the case?
The OCZ 600W StealthXStream Power Supply is an older PSU, maybe there is something new
Thank you very much for your help

starwarsmex,
I am bias to Rosewill, I make no bones about it. I like their units.
The following PSU's are sized to fit your case. But, you need to read the specs concerning the leads. Will it meet your needs?
These are continous power ratings, and are energy efficient 80+
630W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8
700W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8

Hi,
wb2001 is right on about the PSU dimensions. Too long of a power supply could make the cabling between the power supply and the optical drives a problem.
You should open up your PC and measure the physical dimensions of your power supply. Here is a list of things to consider:
1. Specifications
2. Total wattage - important
3. 12+ volt amperage rating - important
4. Modular - not mandatory but I like the flexibility
5. Warranty
6. i7 and SLI ready
7. Efficiency rating
8. Cost
9. Physical size -- standard ATX PSU is 5.5" by 5.9" by 3.4" give or take a few tenths
10. A single 12+ volt rail is a better choice.
www.newegg.com has lots of PSUs choices. Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill, Thermaltake.....

starwarsmex,
Look at the Corsair CX600 or the Corsair HX650. You will find them at www.newegg.com. I am using the Corsair HX650 in two PCs.
