I got a special build that will be coming up. I decided that it will be my maiden voyage into this new forum. I hope it will beat the price/performance charts. Well see soon so stay tuned.

I'm thinking of moving one of my X-58 platforms into a spare BB002 case, and build a "green" (well less power hungry) build in the green BB002 case I have.
I was even thinking of vac-forming a styrene tub to smooth out (hide) the inside and hang my VoodooPC Idol in there!!!

That sounds like a cool idea. Just make sure you keep using the term green in quotes when talking about X58. Chip-set takes almost 30 watts on its own, thats worse than the NF200's. I'll be looking forward to your builds. Mine will be done tomorrow night but I'll probably post pics on Tuesday.

I thought the mobo BB02 size was the extended ATX rather than the shorter ATX ?

Fits both. Classified and R3E will fit. Server size Extended ATX will not.

Actually, an EATX mobo will fit in, here is a pic of mrbean_philip's BB002 build with one: (originally posted on TheNextBench.com)

From the mrbean pic
it looks like he could not use the plastic air baffles ?

The divider between the "GPU" area and the "CPU" area, ...you are correct. The cooling lines hinder that.
Or are there other baffles I'm forgetting?
However, if I remember correctly, he didn't have most of the plastic parts when he was working on this build. Notice he fabricated a bracket to hold his radiator too.
