On a new graphics card installation I must "...connect the two six-pin PCI Express powerconnectors;" my Power Supply furnishes one such connector...do I use this and connect the other by the furnished adaptor to the motherboard? Would appreciate any guidance from the more informed.

HI,
Do not connect the other video card PCI-E connector to the motherboard.
What video card are you using?
What model HP PC are you using?
What power supply are you using?

Hi,
You will need to use one of the Y 6 pin PCI-E splitters as a second source of power for your video card.
Does your power supply have any spare 4 pin molex connectors to use with the Y splitter?
