The GUI is windows 7 64 bit with a 300watt power supply. I'm looking for a better graphics card than the current onboard setup.

Hi,
The on board video in your PC is actually pretty decent for general use. The 300 watt power supply is not going to allow the use of a good mid range or better video card.
HP does put the NVIDIA GT 530 (OEM) video card in similar models with a 300 watt power supply.
Review the ATI and NVIDIA performance specifications. Look at the memory bandwidth specifications and the DirectX level support.
This PNY NVIDIA GT 440 1gb DDR5 should work with your 300 watt power supply.

Hi Dave, thanks for that information, will the GT 440 1024MB PCIe, be much of an improvement over what I have, or would it be best to upgrade the power supply and get a better card.

Hi Peter,
I am not sure what your intended need and use is for a faster video card. I am assuming gaming since this post is under the gaming topic. I would recommend that you go to the web site for the specific applications that you need more video processing capability and find out what level of video card is recommended.
Many times a game's performance is dependent on screen resolution and image detail settings. Keeping the resolution at 1920 by 1080 or less with perhaps default image details might be a place to start. Some games are CPU hogs and a video card faster than the GT 440 might not make too much of a difference.

Hi Dave, sorry its been a long time since I looked in but I now know what I'd like to fit. The question is are they compatible.
The video card is AMD Radeon HD7850 OC, 2Gb and for power supply Corsair CX 600w V2 ATX2.2
Thanks for any help you can give me.
