I have been having crashes with Nap Total War. The game will start and then the video dies, the computer does not crash, just the screen goes blank. I had this before and a new driver from ATI cured it. This time the problem came about right after a MS upgrade in mid January. I have put on the very latest driver from ATI and no luck. I have an ATI Radeon 4650. I have, as stated, upgraded all drivers and no help. Could it be hardware? I am quite frustrated.

Yes, it works for a while then the same problem. I managed to go quite a while yesterday on lowest settings. When I saved and restarted this am that same game the crashed occurred.

Look in the Event Viewer log for critical errors.
Download GPU-Z (it's a freebie) and log the temperatures of your video card.
You might try reseating (remove and replace) the video card and memory dimms.
