I have an HP Touchsmart 310-1000z Desktop PC Product # XL728AV.
Installed OS is Win7 x64 SP1 Ultimate
I want to upgrade my ATI Raedon HD 4270 graphics card (currently 512 MB shared) to a 1 GB card or better.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
1 HP TouchPad 32 GB with Android
2 HP Touchsmarts (310-1000z and IQ527)
2 HP Printers (J6480 and J5750)
1 Laptop (HP DV6253CL)
Have at least some experience in each of those devices, and i'll do my best to help you.
Kudos if I helped!

Hi, Ben:
When I look at the motherboard specs for your PC, I note that the graphics adapter is integrated and there are no options to add a video card.
The internals on this PC are more like a notebook PC than a desktop PC.
The only way you could upgrade the graphics, would be to install the other motherboard your PC can come with that has the AMD Radeon HD 5450 graphics controller (Aronia D motherboard).

No, unfortunately, I don't.
You probably need to get the product code for the PC with that other motherboard because here is the link to all the parts you can get for yours.
In other words, that motherboard that is listed is the one you have now.

Then when you input the part number for your motherboard in the HP Parts Store, you can't order it but have to get it from a reseller.
Me? I would live with what you have or get a new PC, because even if you can get the other motherboard, you are probably going to pay dearly for it.
