how do you fix the problem when downloading a game and it has error kstatus failed

Mystique, without more information to go on, I have provided a search from Google on the subject.  See if any of them give you any help.  If not, let us know.  It appears that this error can be caused by different problems.  I don't which could be yours.

HP game console for wild tangent came with my laptop.  After updating it from Wild Tangent it continuallly show" kstatus failed" error and several script errors.  I have tried every trick I can find an answer to online and nothing is working.  I have even tried removing and reloading the software and it still keeps happening and most of the games wont download.  It is very frustrating.  At least 6  times we tried to download a game, press play to try it and it takes the coin but doesn't bring up the game.  Then when we go to try it again the coins are gone and we cant even try it.  We were seriously considering signing up for this program but are now reconsidering.  what would be the point if coins get wasted and games dont play that you want to try out.?

Contact Wild Tangent Support they have both e-mail and phone support or just click on the queston mark just below the x mark top right side of Hp Game Console by sign in next to settings.

Having same problem with every single HOG game posted today.  Seems I have this problem once before.  My Avast program was blocking the download.  Since then I shut my Avast off, only when I'm on this site and downloading.  Even with this shut off, all games giving me this message.  Must be on their end since everyone seems to be having this problem.
