Hi jackie,
I have the same motherboard in my HP e9280t. I have never seen HP post SLI or Crossfire support for any of the main line PCs.
SLI or Crossfire may not improve the performance of your application. Even a dedicated NVIDIA Physx card may or may not help. You might want to do some research.

Hi,
Yes I know that there are two PCI-E x16 slots but I very much doubt that SLI or Crossfire will work.

I have the same computer as you and wanted to run two gtx 460's in SLI with it and unfortunatly it does not work. Unfortunatly with this computer you will be limited to single card solutions like I did with a GTX 580. If you go this route make sure your power supply is up to the challenge and remember that HP desktops with your motherboard do not like power supplies over the 650 watt range. Good Luck

I wonder if the GeForce GTX 580 would fit in? and if it's necessary to get a new power supply? If, so which one?
