I upgraded a few years back from the dual core A6 5400 to a A8 5500 Quad core, and added ram to 12gig. I looked at the Jasmine CPU list and it only goes up to the A10 5700(Trinity). Will a AMD A10 6700 (Richland) Quad Core work in my Pavilion p6-2330 PC?

THIS PAGE for the support of that unit lists the supported CPU's.
Processor | TDP |
Trinity Dual-Core A4-5300 | 65 W |
Trinity Dual-Core A6-5400K | 65 W |
Trinity Quad-Core A8-5500 | 65 W |
Trinity Quad-Core A8-5600K | 100 W |
Trinity Quad-Core A10-5700 | 65 W |
Trinity Quad-Core A10-5800K | 100 W |
Since the AMD A10 6700 (Richland) Quad Core unit is not listed, probably not supported, but you can try, if you accept it might not work.

BTW: I looked at the specs for the newer CPU and it is not that much faster than the one already installed. If that is the reason for the request, it might not be worhwhile.
