Pavillion P7-1510

I had a HDD fail and put a new one in but cant boot to legacy options (DVD) I assume because legacy is not enabled in bios. Problem is, all I can see is bios info not actual bios. The typical f2/f10/ffffff   only shows info. Even escape will look at boot options but legacy is not in there. Is there a lockout on the bios?

Follow this link, select the 2nd from last.  It's the Escape key.

No link to follow. The escape key does not open the bios. I am a seasoned tech and have not seen this one before. The escape key shows you some options but only to see the system settings like bios version etc. even when you choose change secure boot settings, you dont get to actually change anything but the boot order.

Yes you are correct. It is Escape button. Veteran made rookie mistake. Screen resolution was wrong and could not see the tabs across the top of the screen in the bios. My bad! Fricka racka racka. Thanks to all.
