I have a 3-year old Envy 23, with very nice wireless mouse and keyboard. However, the right button on the mouse has died, making it very hard to navigate. I would be happy to buy a new mouse, but the HP websty doesn't recognize the part number. Can anyone over at HP help? The part number is 687236-001 and the model is MG-0982.

go to best buy., 1 GAGILLION mice there, endless.. even $9 wireleess, from omg HP there.. really. or logictech.

ever heard of $3 usb mouse, as a backup, i buy them in cases. then when one goes bad , me hand goes to box

and snatches one out and end story, for 36years same deal.

i even hand them out to neighbors with stinking wireless mice dead at BAD TIMES , like doing hot 401k selloff.

yours is wireless and does not run off mouse poo,, (wireless is radio linked , and uses POWER)

it runs with a battery inside, RTM, the book on it tells you that and now to change,

are you stuck in a town with no stores at all, you know brick stores

like walmart

or best buy

all 3 carry mice, and all work,

why not buy one. and not be helpless.

a usb MOUSE of any kind is the most generic thing on earth , near, billions sold world wide, no kidding.

all folks that hate mouse pads love real mice,
