Product: At489av HP compaq 6000 pro
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I want to ask if my pc can run gt 740
Core 2 quad q8400
8 gigs of ram
320w psu

Note:some guy out from the fourms said it will work fine. (I just want to be sure)

@Ramibarakat,

First of all,  I need to explain the harsh realities.

The market has been flooded with these remanufactured units.

 

1) HP 6000 Pro is a Business Class computer. It started out with Win XP.

2) Power supply is not an ATX, it only has a 6pin motherboard plug, with an auxillary 4 pin.

3) The BIOS is likely not UEFI.  Use this to determine

4) GT740 is a circa 2014 board.  Is has a UEFI vBIOS.  Not compatible.

5) You need a card manufacturer prior to Sept 1012.

 

Just because you do not like a answer  is not grounds to troll the forums.  Nothing changes. OK?

If your not willing to accept the advise of  Experts on this forum,  no valid logic is possible.
