HP Recommended
DC7900 SFF
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have purchased a second hand HP Compaw DC7900 SFF and I wanted to update the bios from v.1.08 to the latest v.1.27 as appears in the HP support website.

1) I tried to flash from windows 7. Machined showed as if it succeeded but upon reboot the version was the same.

2) I tried to flash from startup utility menu via USB and cd

The procedure started erasing old bios, then flashing the new one showing progress which stopped at 104% ??? and after that point nothing happened. Upon reboot, bios version stayed as before. v.1.08

3) I tried to flash the v.1.26 from usb with same results as in case (2).

It would be much appreciated if i get any ideas about the case !

Thanks in advance

Dennis
