Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased an HP Elite Keyboard V2 and within a month one of the foot stands broke.  I started looking everywhere I could think of to purchase a replacement stand.  These stands are removable already so I figured HP or someone would have the ability to buy and replace the foot stand.  I spent way too much time with the first HP representative who told me all I could do is buy another keyboard.  I asked why I would pay another $30 to $40 to replace a 2 cent part.  She then told me, "that is the way it is," great experience with HP customer support.  I called back to see if I could get someone more helpful and found out that even though it is an HP product that HP does not sell these replacement foot stands.  Why they are not particularly sturdy, and it is an HP product.

The issue is small, and the experience is horrible.  I have many HP products in my business and home.  I know it is a little thing, but my experience with HP in this situation was terrible, and all from what I would assume is a 2 cent part.  I can say this; I will never buy another keyboard from HP because they have no support for the products they put their name.  Buyer beware!

Hi @LouisvilleJhawk,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
