Can anyone help me find an adapter to take whatever bizzare proprietary nonsense Hp has come up with for this PSU so I can fit a standard ATX psu like the EVGA 700B ? It's 24 pin, but the pinouts are non standard.

@mjmiller1824, welcome to the forum.

When requesting help you should always include the make/model (i.e. p6-xxxx) of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of them.

Hi,

The dimensions of the HP DPS-460DB-3A power supply are 5.9 by 3.4 by 5.5. There are numerous PSUs with those dimensions available from numerous manufacturers including EVGA and Corsair.  Most HP PCs use a PSU stabilizing latch to help secure the PSU and you therefore should use a PSU that matches the HP PSU's dimensions. The DPS-460DB-3A uses standard pins outs as I had the HP 460 watt PSU in the HP e9280t.

The Corsair CX500, CX600 and the CS650m have the correct dimensions.
