I plug data cord into the SATA 2 slot. When I turned on the computer the drive sshowed up that it was only 746.39GB.
Does my mother board model MS-7613 (lona-GL8E) support a 3TB Sata HD. I'm just wanting to use the drive as storage.

The answer to your questions is, it is not the motherboard that is causing your problem. Win 7 doesn't support hard drives over 2TB. Here is a guide that will tell you what you need to know.
