HP Compaq Elite 8300 MT
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP Compaq Elite 8300 Microtower PC (QV994AV) with 8Gb RAM.

What is the maximum this can take?

Some documents say 16Gb - See page 32

Some documents say 32Gb - See overview

Anyone got experience with this model or any insight in to which is correct - 16Gb or 32Gb?

Thanks

The overview does say

32G for DIMM

16G for SO-DIMM

But the manual only says 16Gb for DIMM (page 63: not 32)

Well, I finally bit the bullet and intalled the following: -

4 x 8Gb - G Skill F3-1600C11-8GIS modules giving a total of 32Gb memory.

After 4 weeks I have not experienced any issues whatsoever.
