Recently purchased the HP Envy 750-424. It replaced an older HP that I had added a 2nd hard disk to for my iTunes library. I had intended to transfer this hard drive to my new computer for the same use. Although there is a bay for the hard drive there isn't a wiring harness for it. Can a wiring harness be added be added to run this hard drive? The new computer has two hds that are utilizing the available wiring harness.

The motherboard appears to only have 3 SATA ports and all are being used. If there is nothing in the One PCI-E (GEN 3) x1 socket, it might be used to add an adapter card for another drive, but you might need a power adapter connector to add the extra drive. Another option - If you wish to use the existing drive, then possiblity of mounting it in an external case might solve the problem, if that meets the needs.

Thank yoiu very much for your response. It opened up a whole realm of possibilities that I didn't know existed. Thanks for setting me on the path, I belive I'll be able to continue to use this disc drive externally for my iTunes library. Thanks again!
