The specification page at https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03528369 states the motherboard is an M3970AM-HP (Angelica 2).  Unfortunately the M3970AM is an Angelica 1, and is not compatible with higher end AMD CPUs such as the AMD FX-8350 it comes with.  This model actually comes with an M3970CM board that is compatible with this cpu.  I know because I just replaced it.  That was after trying a new M3970AM, new ram, cpu, ps, and video card.  HP, please update this.
