Hi,

after installing https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/GT730SL2GD3BRK/specifications/ and attaching the monitors I get only the first boot screen with Press Esc to enter BIOS It hangs at this screen.

Version: J51 v01.47
Release Date: 07/18/2013

UEFI is supported
BIOS Revision: 1.47

 

Base Board Information
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
Product Name: 1587h

 

Does this http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Video-card-hangs-boot-at-splash-... apply to my scenario too?
Can throw out the bought card? 😞

Removing the motherboard battery for a bit fixed the issue.

 

I think the BIOS setting 'Advanced -> Device Options -> UEFI Option ROM Support' has to be disabled, because when I enabled it had to remove the battery again.
