I'm trying to upgrade this computer to be able to handle new games. I just don't know what my best options are and what options are even available to me with this model. Any help would be appreciated.

@maras1ja, welcome to the forum.

You don't have to change the processor or memory.  I have a HP gaming computer with the same processor and only 8 GB of memory. I am playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist on the highest settings at over 60 fps.

A good video card would be an excellent upgrade.  I like EVGA products.  You should measure the space where the card is to be installed to make certain that it will fit.  Measure from the Back I/O plate to the front of the case.  This will allow you to see if any other components will be in the way of the card.  If you have further questions about which card is best for your system, contact the manufacturer's Tech Support for help.  They are the experts on their products.

Another upgrade that will give you a very good performance increase is a SSD.  I won't have a computer without one.  You will have to buy one with at least 250 GB.  I have a Samsung EVO 840 500 GB in my gaming computer.  It is no longer sold, but there is an EVO 850.  The 500 GB would be better because it will give you more space for games.

These are the only upgrades that I would recommend.
